Description
Soft peach cotton in a long Victorian nightgown, with a lace-trimmed square neck and a flounce that finishes at the ankle.
It is sleeveless, with fine pintucks where the straps meet the shoulder. Lace edges the square neckline and fills a panel across the chest. A short placket of small buttons sits at the centre front, and the top ones undo so the neckline can be opened for nursing. The back keeps the lace-trimmed square neck, with a yoke across the upper back and a centre seam below it. A stitched band sits above a gathered flounce, and the hem ends at the ankle instead of trailing on the floor. The cotton is lightweight and woven, easy for sleep and for wearing around the house.
